Livermore Falls man arrested for setting fire in garage of his mother’s home

No motive has been released why Devin Penney, 21, set a small fire in the garage of the home where his mother lives.

Joseph Slaver, 24, who apparently walked into the side of the cruiser late Friday, died at a Lewiston hospital.

Joseph Slaver, 24, is being treated at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

The 24-year-old man was taken to a Lewiston hospital, where his is listed in critical condition.

The Maine State Police arrested Christopher Roy and seized his electronic equipment about two weeks after receiving a tip.
