Brunswick’s Ethan Patterson wins the Evans Spear Award, while Blake Christie of Camden Hills and Messalonskee’s Denny Martin share the North award.

The Huskies advance to the third round for the first time since 2007.

Rowan Stewart of Camden Hills and MDI’s Patrick Saltysiak are chosen as the performers of the meet after each wins two individual titles.

The Huskies and Polar Bears will square off at 7:45 p.m. Saturday after winning their first-round games.

Elsa Daulerio becomes the third player in conference history to be named both overall and defensive player of the year.

Bowdoin and Bates women will host during first and second rounds, while the Bates, Saint Joseph’s and UMF men and UMF women will hit the road.
