Memorial ride draws nearly 70 bicyclists
The fifth annual Share the Road with Carol”event drew 66 cyclists and 22 volunteers Sept. 19. The event is a memorial bike ride held in Windsor and Whitefield that honors the late Dr. Carol Eckert, who was killed in 2016 while bicycling in Windsor.

Whitefield voters pass $1.5 million budget at Town Meeting
The budget’s total is $1,556,698, but after revenue sources, $1,075,098 will be raised by taxes. The mill rate will be unknown until the school budget is voted on, on Tuesday.
