PITTSFIELD — An Owl Prowl program for children of all ages will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 5, at the Pittsfield Public Library. The L.C. Bates Museum will introduce Maine’s owls. Participants can learn about the owls of Maine, hunt for prey, and dissect an owl pellet.

WINSLOW — Winslow High School class of 1982 will celebrate its 30th reunion at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 7, at the Waterville Country Club.

MADISON — There will be a benefit supper and dance Saturday, July 21, at the Madison American Legion Hall. Supper will be 5-7 p.m. The dance, featuring music by Barbie Demo, will be from 8 p.m. to midnight. Cost for the supper is $7 for adults and $3 for children ages 5-12. The dance will cost $5 per person. Cost is $10 per person for both events.
