OAKLAND — Oakland-based Regional School Unit 18 recently announced its 2012-13 bus routes. RSU 18 includes Belgrade, China, Oakland, Rome and Sidney.

 

Tammy Lyons – Bus 112

Route 1: Start time: 6:45 a.m., North Pond Road. Proceed north on North Pond Road including the Oak Ridge Road picking up K-12 students to the intersection of the Rome Road.Continue onto the Jamaica Point and north on Worster Hill Road including Ladd, Mercer and Drury roads. Proceed to Sweet Dreams and transfer 6-12 students on to bus 143.

Route 2: Proceed to Route 8, pickup K-5 students on the Smithfield/Belgrade town line to the intersection of routes 8 and 11. Pickup K-5 students on Route 11 to the intersection of Route 27. Proceed to Belgrade Central School.

Irene Hawes – Bus 109

Route 1: Start time: 6:50 a.m. at intersection of the Rome and Augusta roads. Proceed south on the Augusta Road, pickup K-12 students, including the Sahagian Road to the intersection of the Chandler Road. Continue to Belgrade Central School via the Augusta Road.

Route 2: Start time: 7:25 a.m., proceed north on Route 11 and 8 picking up K- 5 students including Stations and Taylor Woods roads and Loon Cove Drive. Continue to town line on Oakland Road and then back to Belgrade Central.

Lois Stratton – bus 104

route 1: Start time: 6:50 a.m. at the Rome/New Sharon town line on the Augusta Road. Proceed south on Augusta Road, pickup K-12 students. Continue onto Watson Pond Road and to Castle Island Road, pickup K-12 students to Augusta Road intersection. Continue south on Augusta Road to Belgrade Central School.

Route 2: Start time: 7:25 a.m. at Belgrade Central School. Load transfers from bus 154, Mike Pooler. Proceed to Oakland via Oakland Road to Oakland Schools.

Phil Hague – Bus 143

Route 1: Start time: 6:50 a.m. at Augusta Road and Point Road intersection. Proceed north on Point Road picking up K-12 students and then onto Chandler Road. Proceed onto Guptill Road, pickup K-12 students on Augusta Road to the intersection of Depot Road. Continue on the north end of the Depot Road.

Route 2: Start Time: 7:25 a.m. at Route 8 and McGrath Pond Road intersection. Proceed north on Route 8, pickup 6-12 students on Warren Hill Road to the Belgrade/Smithfield town line. Continue east on Smithfield Road, pickup K-12 students from the Smithfield/Oakland town line to the East Pond Road and Route 137 intersection. Proceed to Oakland Schools via Route 137.

Teisha Lohan – Bus 124

Route 1: Start time: 6:40 a.m. at intersection of the Belgrade/Oakland town line on the McGrath Pond Road. Pickup K-5 students on the McGrath Pond Road and then onto Smithfield Road (Route 8) to Horse Point Road including Stevens Road. Continue back on Smithfield Road, Taylor Woods Road and the Station Road. Proceed north on Oakland Road (Route 11) to the intersection of Oakland town line and back to Belgrade Central School picking up K-5 students along the Oakland Road.

Route 2: Start time: 7:25 a.m. at the intersection of the Belgrade Road and Route 8. Proceed north on Route 8 picking up 6-12 students to the intersection of the McGrath Pond Road. Proceed east on McGrath Pond Road to Oakland/Belgrade town line. Continue east on McGrath Pond Road picking up K-12 Oakland students to the intersection of the Smithfield Road (Route 137). Continue on to Oakland Schools.

Mike Perkins – Bus 105

Route 1: Start time: 6:55 a.m. at the intersection of the Augusta and Manchester roads. Proceed on Manchester Road picking up K-12 students to the intersection of and including the Wings Mills, Mills Stream and Location roads. Continue to the intersection of Wings Mills Road, turn onto the Dunn Road. Pickup K-12 students at the Belgrade town line to the intersection of the Dunn and West roads. Proceed to the Belgrade Central School.

Route 2: Start time: 7:25 a.m. at the intersection of Augusta and Belgrade roads. Proceed north on Belgrade Road picking up 6-12 students to the intersection of the Belgrade Road and Route 8. Proceed north on Belgrade Road to Oakland town line. Proceed to the Oakland Schools via the Belgrade Road.

Mike Pooler – Bus 119

Route 1: Start time:  6:50 a.m.  at Mills Road. Proceed to Route 27 south to Pamcor Drive and then to Summerhaven Road, Birch Circle and then to Knowles Road. Proceed to Manchester Road to Bartlett Road and then to the Wings Mills/Manchester Road intersection. Proceed to Belgrade Central School.

Route 2: Start time: 7:25 a.m. at Belgrade Central School. Proceed to Route 23 picking up K-5 students from Route 23 to the intersection of Quaker Road. Continue on Quaker Road picking K-5 students on Shepard Road. Continue to Bean School.

Curt Smith – Bus 133

Route 1: Start time: 6:50 a.m. on Lakeshore Drive. Proceed f south on West Road picking up K-12 students to Manchester Road intersection. Pickup K-12 students on Minot Hill Road, continue to Belgrade Central School.

Route 2: Start time: 7:25 a.m. at the intersection of the Belgrade/Oakland town line. Proceed north on Route 11 picking up K-12 students to the intersection of Axtell Terrace and Belgrade Road. Proceed to Oakland Schools.

Sidney (regular routes)

Richard Jandreau – Bus 108

Route 1: Start time: 6:45 a.m. at Town Farm and Middle roads. Proceed on Town Farm Road picking up K-12 students, then south on West River Road picking up K-5 students to Lyons Road and to Lyons Road including Sunset Ridge and Blue Ridge east and west. Continue onto Bean School via the Middle Road.

Route 2: Start time:  7:25 a.m.  at Lyons Road. Pickup 6-12 students on Lyons Road and then north on West River Road, to Waterville town line. Continue to Trafton Road, Cottle Road and Mulberry Lane picking up K-12 students to the Middle Road intersection. Continue to the Oakland Schools via the Middle Road.

Norm Vigue – Bus 107

Route 1: Start time: 6:50 a.m. at Augusta/Sidney town line on West River Road. Proceed picking up K-12 students north on West River Road and continue on Densmore Road to the Middle Road intersection. Proceed to the Bean School.

Route 2: Start time: 7:25 a.m. at Oakland/Sidney town line. Proceed north on Middle Road picking up K-12 students including Denise Avenue and Libby Hill. Continue to Oakland Schools via Middle Road.

Carmen Tillson – Bus 106

Route 1: Start time: 6:50 a.m. at the intersection of West River and Densmore roads. Proceed north on West River Road picking up K-12 students to the intersection of Lyons Road and onto Drummond Road. Pick up K-12 students on the Drummond Road including Farm Brook Road and Alpha Drive. Continue to Bean School via the Middle Road.

Route 2: Start time: 7:30 a.m. at Bean School. Proceed north on Middle Road picking up 6-12 students to the Oakland/Sidney town line. Continue to Oakland Schools.

Art Jones – Bus 110

Route 1: Start time: 6:55 a.m. on Middle Road, Sidney. Proceed on Middle Road to Cottle Road in Oakland and then to Mayflower Heights picking up K-12 students. Proceed to Oakland schools via Rices Ripps Road and Fairfield Street.

Angie Philbrick – Bus 153

Route 1: Start time: 6:50 a.m. at Shepard and Middle roads intersection. Proceed on Shepard Road including Philbrick Road picking up K-12 students. Continue to the extension of Quaker Hill Road. Proceed on Quaker Road to Pond Road picking up 6-12 students. Proceed to Mt. Vista Drive picking up K-12 students. Continue to Bean school via Quaker and Middle roads.

Route 2: Start time: 7:25 a.m., James Bean School. Proceed to Oakland Schools via Middle Road.

Kim Hewett – Bus 116

Route 1: Start time: 6:50 a.m. at Mt. Vista Drive/Pond Road intersection. Proceed north on Pond Road picking up K-12 students including Robinson Road to intersection of Bartlett Road. Continue on Goodhue Road picking up K-5 students to the Tiffany Road intersection. Continue to Bean School via the Middle Road.

Route 2: Start time: 7:25 a.m. on Gallagher Road. Proceed to Cedar Village Road picking up K-12 students including Andrew Terrace, Cedar Village Place, Oxen Drive and Heritage Drive

Route 1: Start time: 6:50 a.m. at Oakland/Sidney town line. Proceed south on Pond Road picking up K-12 students. Continue on Bartlett Road, and Tiffany Road. Continue picking up K-5 students to Middle Road intersection. Proceed to Bean School via Goodhue and Middle roads.

Route 2: Start time: 7:30 a.m. at Goodhue/Middle roads intersection. Proceed west on Goodhue Road picking up 6-12 students including Pond Road to Oakland town line. Proceed to Oakland Schools after picking up K-12 students on Pond Road to the intersection of Libby Hill in Oakland.

Nate Philbrick – Bus 140

Route 1: Start time: 6:50 a.m. at Augusta/Sidney town line. Proceed picking up K-12 students on Bog Road to Middle Road including Reynolds Hill Road and Ferguson Drive. Proceed north on Middle Road to Bean School. Transfer 6-12 students to Bus 8.

Route 2: Start time: 7:30 a.m. at Bean School. Pick up K-5 students north on Middle Road to Oakland town line including Carrie Way, Lewis Road, Rebecca Drive, Kelly Circle and Matthew Drive. Continue picking up to the Bean School.

Route 1: Start time: 6:50 a.m. at High /Oak streets intersection. Proceed picking up K-12 students on High Street to Church parking lot including Hill Street. Proceed to Oakland Schools.

Route 2: – Start time: 7:25 a.m. south, KMD. Proceed north on KMD to Swan Hill Road picking up K-12 students and continue to North and South Second Rangeway including Clairmont Avenue and Highland Drive. Continue to Pine Acres Development picking up K-12 students. Proceed to Old Waterville Road picking up K-12 students to the intersection of KMD. Proceed to Oakland Schools.

Yvonne Scribner – Bus 139

Route 1: Start time: 6:50 a.m. at Marston/County roads intersection. Picking up K-12 students on County Road and Gagnon Road, Ten Lots Road and upper Oak Street to Hussey Hill Road intersection. Proceed to Oakland schools.

Start time: 6:45 a.m., Village Street. Proceed to Village Street onto Route 3, pickup K-12 students on Route 32 heading south. Continue to Chadwick Hill Road, Arnold Road, Meadow Wood Drive, Bradford Lane and to the town line on Route 32. Continue to Erskine and China schools.

Annette Bickford – Bus 129

Start time:  6:45 a.m., Morrill Road. Proceed on Morrill Road picking up K-12 and then onto Old Waterville Road. Continue on Neck Road and Main Street, then to Lakeview Drive picking up K-12 students including Parmentar Terrace and returning to Lakeview Drive picking up K-12 on to China schools and Erskine Academy.

Betsy Farley Pratt- Bus 156

Start time: 6:45 a.m. Start Point: Intersection of Maple Ridge Road and Brann Road. Pick up K-12 student on Maple Ridge Road. Proceed from Maple Ridge Road picking up K-12 students to the Stanley Hill Road, Neck Road, Main Street in China Village, and the Albion Road. Continue to China Schools and Erskine Academy.

Start time:  6:45 a.m. at Bog Brook Road and Pleasant View Ridge Road. Proceed on Bog Brook Road, Hanson Road, Route 3, Branch Pond Road, Parmenter Hill Road, back to Branch Pond Road and Route 3.  Continue to the corner of Southern Oaks Road and proceed to Erskine Academy and the China Schools.

Route 1: Start time: 6:50 a.m. at the intersection of Lakeview Drive and Pleasant View Ridge Road. Proceed on Pleasant View Ridge Road picking up K-12 including McCaslin Road and Danforth Road. Proceed up Dutton Road, then to Pleasant View Ridge Road to the intersection of Bogg Brook Road. Proceed to China schools and Erskine Academy.
