HARTFORD, Vt. — Vermont State Police now say a third vehicle may have hit a Dartmouth College graduate student whose body was found in a travel lane of Interstate 91.
Police initially said it appeared two vehicles had struck 24-year-old Mikhail Lomakin of Norwich. Now they’re saying it appears a third vehicle may have done so, and may have front-end or windshield damage.
Police are still investigating to determine how Lomakin ended up in the interstate highway’s travel lane early Saturday. They’re interested in talking with people who may have seen Lomakin on Friday.
