Motorcycles rumble past Winthrop Middle School students during a “Bikers against bullying” event on Monday.  Superintendent Gary Rosenthal said the visit was organized by Julie Armillotti, guidance counselor, and middle-schoolers were all to have an opportunity to see the bikes and their riders.  “We try to be pretty proactive,” Rosenthal said. October has been designated as National Bullying Awareness Month.
