CLINTON — The town recently hired two police officers to fill two full-time vacancies. The Clinton Police Department is now fully staffed with three full-time police officers, including the chief of police and several part-time reserve officers.

WINDSOR — The Kennebec County 4-H Leaders Association is sponsoring the Spring Fling Ticket Auction will be Saturday at the Windsor Fairgrounds in the Main Exhibition Hall. Doors will open at 3:30 p.m. Bidding will close at 5:30 p.m.

PITTSFIELD — A Hooked on Fishing outside recreational program will be from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 9, in Manson Park’s lower area past the parking lot. Children and adults should bring fishing poles and dress for outside weather conditions. Small children should be accompanied by an adult.
