PITTSFIELD — The Sebasticook Valley Hospital Auxiliary will host its 2017 Spring Concert, featuring the Con Brio Brass, at 7 p.m. Friday, April 28, at 167 Leighton St.
The band consists of five brass players who have dedicated part of their lives to music and their respective instruments. The members, Lou Harper (tuba), Dawna Roberts (French horn), David Roberts (trumpet), Greg Weirs (trombone) and Bruce Brown (trumpet), have officially been known as the Con Brio Brass for only a year, but have been playing together and individually for many years.
Their years of experience are brought together with music, humor and dedication to entertaining audiences with diverse musical tastes.
The group plays numerous genres of music — rock, contemporary, jazz, patriotic, Dixieland, classical, Christian, country and everything in between.
There also will be a basket drawing, 50/50 drawing and door prizes.
Tickets cost $10 per person, $15 per couple, $5 for children younger than 12, $25 per family, or $75 per table of eight. Homemade refreshments are included in ticket price.
For tickets, call 487-2778 or visit the SVH Gift Nook in the hospital main lobby.
