I urge readers to support Tom Ferris for Waterville House District 109 at the polls on June 12.

I’ve seen Tom stand up again and again at Waterville City Council meetings to speak out for what he believes in. Tom is acutely in tune with issues facing our community.

As an accomplished attorney, Ferris has the skill set and knowledge it takes to be an effective legislator.

Having worked at the State House for many years, I know how complex state legislation can be. The Legislature deals with roughly 2,000 different bills each session. Legislators get barraged by lobbyists, their party leadership, and their constituents to vote a certain way on those bills. It takes a sharp intellect and a strong moral compass to navigate the political waters in Augusta.

I strongly believe that Tom Ferris will do the best job representing the residents of District 109 in Waterville.
