Monmouth Academy’s chapter of Future Business Leaders of America competed in the State Leadership Conference March 22 and 23, and finished as runners-up in the Maine State Conference. The chapter qualified for participation in June’s National Leadership Conference.
All conference events were held virtually: testing, document uploads, and Zoom presentations to judges for team and speech events. Students participated in all forms of business-related competitions: law, ethics, management, digital video production and public speaking.
Members participating in the conference included Lucas Harmon, Zeke Delorme, Reese Beaudoin, Izzy Hamann, Abby Atwood, Sophia Johnson, Hailey Rooney, Isaac Oliveira, Olivia Degen, Mackenzie Grant, Mia Luce, Brooklyn Federico, Kyleigh Gowell, Averi Beaudoin, Ben Hamann, Natalie Aube, Emma Gray and Jacob Umberhind.
Also, Lily Turcotte, Megan Ham, Mike Dolan, Jocelyn Coffin, Taylor Whalen, Madison Sharples, Mya Sirois, Kylie Brown, Hayden Luce, Chloe Dwinal, Lydia Roy, Alicen Burnham, Grace Vierling, Delaney Houston, and Rhayna Poulin.
