I offer this letter of support for Tavis Hasenfus. Tavis has proven himself a leader since he was elected in 2020. He champions issues that Mainers in general support. Tavis’s committee work oversees licensing, consumer protection and tourism that are all vital to Maine’s economy.
Tavis has fully supported funding for public education that finally reached the 55% level for the first time under state law. That type of support helps to stabilize our property taxes. Tavis is an active volunteer helping to keep our lakes and waterways clean and usable through his work with Friends of Cobbossee Watershed.
In searching for a candidate to support, I believe looking at a proven track record on the issues facing us is much more critical than looking at political signs that pepper the roadsides.
Please join me in voting for Tavis as he has proven his commitment to making Maine better.
