In my 19 years of experience as Register of Deeds for Kennebec County I have had many opportunities to see why experience is incredibly important for this position. The office is responsible to the people of Kennebec County to maintain the indexed system established in the 1990s. The Register of Deeds has the responsibility to ensure all entries are correct and available for the public to access. As the deputy register for Kennebec County, Diane Wilson has the experience and knowledge needed to maintain this position for the citizens of Kennebec County.
