Election Day is Nov. 8 and voters in Hallowell, Manchester and West Gardiner are fortunate to have Dan Shagoury on the ballot for House District 55, which includes Hallowell, Manchester, and West Gardiner.
He and his wife Juliet raised their two sons in Hallowell and have been very engaged in our schools and community. Dan was on the Regional School Unit 2 school board for nine years and has been on the Hubbard Free Library board for nearly 15 years. He was also on the board of Consumers for Affordable Healthcare.
Dan has been an effective public servant, a leader in education, and an advocate for affordable health care and our community. He has been endorsed by Equality Maine, Maine Education Association, Planned Parenthood, Maine Conservation Voters and various labor unions. Dan has earned my vote and I hope he has earned yours as well.
