Regarding Jamie McCarthy’s letter (“Letter writer wrong on media’s ‘leftist agenda’,” Jan. 27) dismissing my information as “shopworn script,” I must give reply.
The “leftist agenda” to which I was referring manifested itself even more clearly by Rep. Katrina Smith’s column on parental rights (“Parents’ rights are being taken away at schools,” Jan. 27). This appeared on the same page and same day as McCarthy’s gentle rebuke.
Take off your rose-colored glasses, and really look at American society today. Some power structures, whose existence McCarthy acknowledges, are alive and well. They are also working very effectively, especially within our media outlets, the ever-increasing educational and government dictates, and the Fauci-friendly pharmaceutical industry. These entities have all been generously funded by the likes of Bill Gates, George Soros, and Klaus Schwab; and their efforts to bring America down to a third-world level are becoming more and more visible.
This country is “going to hell in a hand basket” and gentle “woke” people like yourself are greasing the skids. My letter stands!
