A partial list of central Maine Fourth of July festivities.
Augusta: Festivities Monday at Augusta Mill Park, will include a 4 p.m. parade starting at the State Capitol and ending at Augusta Mill Park; fireworks around 9:15 p.m. at Mill Park; 626-2350 or 623-4559.
Belgrade: Parade on Monday, lineup starts at 3 p.m. for vehicles and floats and 3:30 for bicycles and walkers, at Rome Farm, Route 27. Parade proceedsdown Main Street through the village, ends at West Road.
Camden: Camden Rotary’s Music by the Sea concert is set for 2-9 p.m. Monday at Camden Harbor Park & Amphitheater. Fireworks over the harbor will begin at 9 p.m.; 236-3440 or 236-4404.
Carrabassett Valley: Full day of events at Town Park, the Children’s Parade from the Tufulio’s parking lot begins at 3 p.m. Monday; fireworks will begin once it’s dark — approximately 9 p.m.
Greenville area: Full day of activities downtown; Fourth of July parade, starts at the Industrial Park in the junction and ends downtown at 11 a.m. Monday; Kid’s Bike Parade, line-up at the Center for Moosehead History, downtown ends at Minden Street, downtown, 11:30 a.m.; Rockwood Boat Parade, line up at 6:45 p.m. at the Kineo Docks, Rockwood, 7 p.m.; fireworks and music, Birches in Rockwood, 9 p.m. (dusk); info@mooseheadlake.org. more

Oakland: The 4th of July Boat parade around McGraw Pond will start at 3 p.m. Monday at Pleasant Point Park on McGrath Pond. Decorate boats, Jetski’s, kayak or anything that moves on the water are welcome to participate; 465-3306. more
Rangeley: Independence Day Celebration on Sunday, all-day events and fireworks at dusk, most events occur at Rangeley Town Cove Park.
Solon: Independence Day parade will begin at 11 a.m. at Griswold’s Store and proceed north on U.S. Route 201 to Keystone Masonic Hall; 431-1506. more
Thomaston: Independence Day celebration featuring a parade, chicken barbecue, musical entertainment, and fireworks finale around 9:15 p.m. Monday; 354-8763 or 354-6440.
Winslow: The Fourth of July Celebration in Winslow features many events from Saturday to Monday, a parade will begin at 10 a.m. Monday on Bay Street, fireworks over Fort Halifax Park are set for 9 p.m. Monday. more
