In a time where politics seems to be more talk than reality, I am grateful for people such as Colleen Lachowicz, who brings a breath of fresh air to the process.

Over the past several weeks, I have received two hateful and disgusting mailings against Rep. Susan Morissette, Republican candidate for House District 54.

On Oct. 5, the Labor Department reported that employers had added 114,000 new jobs in September and unemployment is down to 7.8 percent, the lowest since President Barack Obama took office.

Having received the Maine Republican Party’s mailing excoriating Colleen Lachowicz’s life in the online world I must say that, frankly, I find it refreshing to see a candidate who knows where to draw the line.
