Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh has argued that a sitting president should not be subject to criminal investigation or civil suit because of the distraction from presidential duties such investigation or suit would cause.

It bears noting that, as of July 8, President Donald Trump has been on the grounds of his golf courses or played golf elsewhere 125 times.
