As a constituent, a customer of his organic farm, and an advocate to his committees, I am writing to support Craig Hickman’s re-election to Maine Senate District 14.
Since Craig’s 2012 election to the Maine House, he has ably represented his constituents in central Kennebec County. He has been a tireless advocate for farmers, for the environment, for Maine’s local food movement, and for social justice. He may be the only Maine candidate who has earned both an A rating from the NRA and a perfect score from Planned Parenthood. Craig is a great listener and a powerful speaker.
Perhaps the best thing I can say about Craig is that even when I disagreed bitterly with Craig on an issue, he treated me with respect, open communication, and no hard feelings.
We need more legislators like that. Send Craig Hickman back to the Maine Senate on Nov. 8.
