I invite my fellow Hallowellians to join me in supporting George Lapointe for mayor. George has extensive experience in managing constituent groups with opposing opinions, as he did as a state of Maine commissioner for many years. Respecting different points of view and helping find compromise is a critical skill in a mayor. George has demonstrated this skill many times over the years.
Also, George leads from a place of positivity. He sees the good in a situation and then strives to make it better. This brings people together rather than separates them. Leading with optimism inspires others and gets them involved. We need George’s optimism to carry Hallowell forward. Please support George Lapointe for mayor.
