The Public Advocate recently warned us not to “minimize the upfront risks and costs” of Pine Tree Power. Are people really able to overlook the more than $10 billion in debt and $500 million a year in interest this government takeover will likely cost us? The price tag alone is reason enough for me to vote no on Question 3.

Putting elected officials in charge of our electric grid seals my opposition. When I heard that, all I could picture was a bunch of politicians screaming at each other then posing for the cameras while powerlines fall to the ground around us.

We can’t let this happen to our state. Join me in voting no on Question 3.
