I look forward to casting my vote to reelect George Lapointe for mayor of Hallowell. I appreciate George’s enthusiasm for welcoming a diverse, multicultural community to Hallowell as demonstrated by his commitment to helping immigrant families join our larger neighborhood. As I walk through Hallowell, I see George listening to neighbors’ concerns and supporting local businesses. I have witnessed George show up to teach multiple New Mainers how to drive, hand out water to triathletes running through town, move families to new homes, and volunteer regularly on Granite City Park work crews.
With George I know we will get a leader who makes sure all voices are heard, a skilled facilitator who helps people forge compromises, and a community member who shows up when there is work to be done. George loves Hallowell! He has my vote.
